Instruction by Alana:

Alana is a knowledgeable dance instructor who seeks to inspire students to reach their potential as dancers, while remaining committed to safe, strong technique. She strives to give her students an excellent foundation in not only bellydance movement but also an understanding of the culture, music and folkloric elements of Middle Eastern dance. Alana truly believes that dance steps alone do not make a dancer. Passion and cultural understanding play an equal part in development.

Alana is thrilled to be an instructor at Oasis Dance Centre in Wan Chai. She is honoured to join the team of talented, dedicated instructors/ performers under the direction of MeyJen Tillyer, studio founder. The studio is committed to excellence in dance, appreciation of Middle Eastern culture and fostering a healthy dance community. Oasis regularly holds parties and specialty workshops that focus on fun and friendship among dancers. Oasis provides instruction in Middle Eastern Dance, Flamenco, Classical Indian, Bollywood, Hawaiian, Hip Hop and Jazz.
